- How frequent (and intense) is perceived coercion in patients legally voluntarily and legally involuntarily admitted to the participating hospitals?
- What coercive treatment measures (see definitions) are applied to these two groups of patients?
- What is the medium-term outcome for legally involuntarily admitted patients and for voluntarily admitted patients who feel coerced to admission?
- What are the baseline predictors of more or less favourable medium-term outcome in the two groups of patients?
- What is the international variation in questions 1. - 5.?
